I have a BA in International Communications from Miami University of Ohio and an MA in European History from the University of Glasgow in Scotland. During my six years in the UK I completed archaeological digs in the Scottish Highlands, assisted curators at the Kelvingrove Museum and wrote a thesis related to occult practices and symbolism in the 18th century.

I spent 6 months living among Celtic people on the islands of Barra and Skye, where folklore and mythology has been well preserved and the history is largely oral. I recorded and studied these stories, and gained an in-depth understanding of their origins. My specialties are Celtic, Germanic and Ancient Roman mythologies.
